It is important to make clear what you want to happen to your assets when you die. Making a will also gives you the opportunity to appoint the person that you wish to look after your affairs and, if appropriate, to express your wishes to the type of funeral you might have. At Austin Kelly & Co Solicitors our fee for a single will is £60 plus vat and a will for a couple is £90 plus vat.
Wills and power of attorney
Whilst everyone should make a will, everyone should also have power of attorney. An attorney is someone of your choosing who can look after your financial, legal and medical matters in the event of you being unable to do so yourself.
